Description International ship show in gdinia, Poland. Between 12 and 14 October, Katowice will host the third edition of the Silesian Water Sports and Recreation Fair WIND and WATER. Luxury motorboats, sailing yachts, scooters, modern sailing and motorboat equipment will be exhibited in the International Congress Center, in the heart of Katowice. Katowice is the co-host of the Fair, organizer YACHT EXPO, executive organizer - Murator EXPO. The Magazine "Żagle" - the most widely read monthly magazine dedicated to sailing and water sports - is the partner of the Fair. Silesia is a region with a huge potential and currently one of the strongest and most active sailing districts in Poland. The history of sailing in Silesia dates back to the early twenties of the last century and now Silesia has become a real home of water sports enthusiasts, whose number increases every year. The training and recreational offer is constantly expanding, and in many Silesian families sailing has become a multigenerational sport. Those of Silesians who practice water sports can be found both in the inland waters and in the waters around the world. The WIND and WATER Boat Show organized in Katowice is continuing the traditions of the Warsaw Fair which has been held for almost 30 years. It is the largest and oldest exhibition event in Poland in the field of water sports and recreation. Last year's edition of the WIND and WATER Boat Show in Katowice gathered nearly 200 exhibitors and over 13,000 visitors. An integral part of the Fair was the Marine Industry Forum, attended by 130 representatives of the yacht industry from Polish yachting industry and abroad |
