| Description Since its inception in Manila in 2001, the Asian Animal Congress has become the largest and longest-running professional animal conservation conference in Asia and the rest of the world. The first two sessions were held in Borneo, Malaysia in 2015, and the 2019 Asian Animals Conference in Kathmandu, Nepal, will be held in Dalian, China. As the organizer of this event, Dalian Weishan Animal Care Association has been ready to meet friends from home and abroad. The biennial Asian Animal Congress brings together animal experts, academics, government officials and other industry insiders to review the results, share experiences, exchange ideas, and propose directions for future cooperation. The conference provided a unique opportunity for each participant to understand the unique challenges facing the host country, to communicate with key experts, and to learn new ideas and practical experiences from each participant. The theme of the conference is animal protection, which aims to make our society a better, more harmonious and more compassionate.
