| Description Intelligent manufacturing is the main direction of manufacturing industry, and "machine replacement" is the basis of intelligent manufacturing, and is the first step for Taizhou enterprises to move towards intelligent manufacturing. Since Taizhou started the "machine replacement" operation in 2013, great achievements have been achieved so far. From 2013 to 2016, Taizhou has completed a total investment of 227.1 billion yuan in industrial technology renovation focusing on "machine replacement", with an average annual growth of 26.6%. The growth rate is in the forefront of the province, with more than 5,000 industrial robots in service. The proportion of investment in technological transformation of "machine replacement" in industrial investment is increasing year by year. In 2016, Taizhou City invested 41.3 billion yuan in equipment and appliances, accounting for 47.1% of the total industrial investment, an increase of 4.4 percentage points over 2012. "Machine replacement" has been widely promoted in various industries. It has penetrated into manufacturing enterprises in Taizhou and achieved full coverage of industrial industries.
