Description Istanbul Furniture Fair The furniture industry, one of the locomotive sectors for exports in Turkey, met at CNR Expo Istanbul on 6-11 November. Foreign visitors showed a profound interest in the exhibition where the trade volume exceeded UD$ 1billion with the participation of VIP procrument committees and visitors from 85 countries. Furniture Istanbul organized by CNR Holding company Pozitif Fairs in collaboration with the Turkish Furniture Manufacturers Association (MOSDER) have gathered the leading furniture brands in Turkey under the same roof at CNR Expo on 6-11 November 2018. The exhibition hosted VIP procrument committees and visitors from 85 countries including the target markets of the industry such as Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates, as well as the leading representatives of the furniture industry such as Italy, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Two separate groups of procurement committees were invited to increase the foreign trade power of the Turkish furniture industry. VIP procurement committees from 14 countries, (Ethiopia, Bosnia Herzigova, Morocco, Russia, Libya, Ghana, India, Pakistan, Malaysia, Belgium, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Ukraine, and Bahrain) in the first group were hosted within the scope of the International Competitiveness Development (UR-GE) project by the Ministry of Trade. CNR Holding organized the second group hosting procurement committees from 15 countries under the Hosted Buyer Program. |
