Description Exhibition for Model Building and Model Sport The Dortmund model exhibition is held annually, and has been successfully held for 39 years as the world's largest exhibition of model production and model sports industry. No matter the scale, the degree of professionalism and the number of audiences far exceed Japan's Tokyo and shizuoka model show, the world's major brands are present. In 2017, a total of 550 exhibitors from 16 countries and regions in the world display exquisite model products, which are full of 10 exhibition halls of Dortmund exhibition center. The five-day event attracted more than 80,000 modelers, dealers, clubs and enthusiasts from across Europe, with about 20 percent of the audience coming from outside Germany. According to statistics, in 2017, the average person will consume 250 euros per person, which is equivalent to an average of 30,000 euros per exhibitor. In Western Europe, an event that brings together more than 80,000 visitors to ticket sales is a sign of the depth of the European model culture. |
